veto points are used to veto an elimination vote casted by another player. the person with the highest number of veto points in
certain rounds will be given the chance, when elimination time comes, to nullify one vote. the rounds when this will
happen will remain unknown to the players until the beginnings of the particular rounds (the "a" sub-rounds, giving ya'll
plenty of time before the elimination parts). i will, however, tell you that there will be only three such rounds.
if you get to use your veto points to nullify a vote, and you
choose to do so, your veto points will be set back to zero. for this reason, it will be virtually impossible to win back-to-back
veto point "races". you cannot be rewarded veto points after you have been voted out of the VOC.
it is important to note that when you are using veto points to
nullify a vote, you must simply choose one player's elimination vote to nullify, without necessarily knowing for sure who
that person voted against. for this reason, voting in secret, as well as having keys to the immunity room, become even more
important.
your current veto points are displayed on your player
page.
you gain veto points when:
- you are not nominated in a nominations round;
- you are nominated in a nominations round and remain nominated up
till and through the elimination round, but recieve zero elimination votes;
- everyone is nominated (it is a no-nominations round) and you recieve
zero elimination votes;
- when you win a veto competition;
- when you begin a new round and you are leading in popularity
points. ?
veto points are calculated and added at the ends of all rounds.
